Made as part of an experimental collaborative performance work as part of the @archival.bootcamp residency at @trabajo_practico near Valencia in August this year No words is an image which brings together a few things I have been trying, and failing, to articulate for a while now. Prompted by a random selection of photos on my phone and transformed into an action, it visualises a few things that are invisible in our culture – middle age, disappointment, appetite, and the struggle to find the words to say what we want to say, in the way we might feel we want to say it.
